The Bird-table

Recently, we’ve noticed a rather large sea-gull lurking on Trelugga’s chimney-pots, waiting for a chance to swoop in and grab some bread from the bird-table; he is a reminder of the sea nearby.

Night-life

In the evenings the garden is full of bats getting their fill of insects, and in the trees you can hear the hoots of barn owls.

Swallow Season

The sky is now full of darting swallows, dipping and soaring over the wildlife pond for insects and teaching their fledgelings to fly.

Introducing Accommodation

The restoration of our Cornish cob cowshed is now complete and we’re looking forward to the grand opening of the Novel English Dormitory in August!

Year of the Lupins!

The garden has been overwhelmed by lupins this summer, as well as foxgloves of over 6ft in height! As ever, the rose garden is also looking splendid.
