Our summer Fantastical Worlds course will examine ‘Over Sea and Under Stone’ – the first of Susan Cooper’s ‘The Dark is Rising’ sequence. A pillar of English children’s literature, this series from the 1960’s is set in Cornwall. It revolves around Arthurian legends, Celtic and Norse mythology, and English Folklore. The first book is just the beginning of great things to come, and not to be missed! For ages 8-12.
