I could not be more delighted to announce that after Christmas I am going to be running a three-day course on my favourite novel (and indeed book!) of all time: Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman. Ever since I first read it, more than twenty years ago, Northern Lights has held the top spot for me. There is no other work of fiction that I have read as often, nor world I would most love to visit – and I have a very real problem with buying different editions!
